Suspension of Public Worship

Many of you will already have read or heard about the decision made today by the Archbishops of Canterbury and York to suspend public worship until further notice as part of the measures being taken to contain the spread of Covid-19 as much as possible.

Although this is a matter of considerable sadness as corporate worship is of course such an important part of Christian life, it is important that we remember that even if we are unable to meet together as the Body of Christ, we remain a strong community bound together by our shared love for God and each other. We are still able to pray and to connect with each other in different ways and I will be keeping in touch with everyone in order to share ideas for how we can do this.

We also have the opportunity to serve our community and i would encourage everyone to consider how we each may be able to support our friends and neighbours while of course remaining safe and ensuring we adhere to the government advice on social distancing.

In the meantime please be assured of my love and prayers at this challenging time and if there is anything you feel I can assist with,  do not hesitate to contact me
