Our Church of England parish churches serve the local communities of Fryerns, Craylands, Beechwood Village and Barstable East in the Essex town of Basildon.
We seek to love and worship God, to grow in prayer, flourish in our faith and to joyfully live out the good news of Jesus Christ at the heart of the local community.
We see ourselves as a family, inclusive of all, and hope you find a warm welcome with us.
All are welcome, whether you have lived in Basildon for years,
or are new to our town, and wherever you are from.
We welcome those who have come to our country seeking asylum
from war, persecution and violence,
just as Jesus welcomes all to come to him.
Service Times
Our normal Sunday service times are :
a Holy Communion service at St Andrew’s at 9:15am
a Holy Communion service at Holy Cross at 11:30am
Our Weekly Services :
We have services each week at both churches. For details please click here.
On-line services
We understand that there are some who do find it difficult to attend church in person, so the Sunday morning service from St Andrew’s will continue to be live-streamed on our FaceBook page.

As well as the FaceBook livestream, the Sunday morning service will be available on YouTube.
We can continue to worship and pray as a church each one of us where-ever we are. There are some resources to help with this on our worship page.
