Our parish churches serve the local communities of Fryerns, Craylands, Beechwood Village and Barstable East in the Essex town of Basildon.
We seek to love and worship God, to grow in prayer, flourish in our faith and to joyfully live out the good news of Jesus Christ at the heart of the local community. We see ourselves as a family, inclusive of all, and hope you find a warm welcome with us.
Our Weekly Services :
In-church services are now happening on both Sunday and Wednesday mornings.
For details of our services please see here.
We meet together on Sunday mornings at St Andrew’s and Sunday and Wednesday mornings at Holy Cross. Our services will still allow us to use some social distancing. You may also want to consider wearing a face covering still as an expression of our love and care for each other.
St Andrew’s Café
The St Andrew’s Café is open on Thursdays with a lunchtime meal on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays. See here for more information.
Holy Cross Restoration
We are continuing with our appeal to complete the restoration work for Holy Cross. If you’d like to make a donation to support that work please visit our give-a-little page or you can also visit our dedicated Justgiving page.
On-line services
We understand that there are some who do find it difficult to attend church in person, so the Sunday morning service from St Andrew’s also will continue to be live-streamed on our FaceBook page.

As well as the FaceBook livestream, the Sunday morning service will be available on YouTube.
We can continue to worship and pray as a church each one of us where-ever we are. There are some resources to help with this on our worship page.
We are keen to support the local community as much as possible so if anyone needs assistance with shopping etc please message us through our Facebook page ❤️. Our Facebook page is the place for latest updates too.
