Worship with Children
Children are not just welcome at our worship services; we actively encourage them to come along and join in. Just like adults, children have different ways they choose to express and explore their faith and we aim to walk alongside them as they do so. It is not a one size fits all, so we want to listen to children and families to enable them to flourish as we journey together. Often the tendency when bringing children to church is to sit at the back to try to keep children quiet, but that can have the opposite effect. We invite children and families to sit at or near to the front, not to keep children quiet but so they are more able to see what is going on and join in if they wish, when children are able to engage it means that parents/carers are more able to relax and join in too.
We currently don’t have specific activities for children on a Sunday morning during our services, but all children are still very welcome to join with us. We’re planning to provide more for children in the new year – if you have any thoughts on this, please get in touch via email@example.com
