Holy Cross Weekend, 17th-18th September

Celebrating God’s Love for each one of us, Holy Cross day, and highlighting the work underway and planned to restore this beautiful building, we’ve a whole weekend of activities….

On Saturday 17th September from 10:00am Holy Cross will be open for a ‘Celebration of Love‘, with a flower festival, and display of wedding dresses and photographs, refreshments available through the day including a barbecue from 1:00pm, music from the Holy Cross choir from about 2:00pm and then a special service celebrating love from 3:00pm. The day will finish at 4:00pm.

On Sunday 18th September, there will be the usual service of Holy Communion at 11:15am. Then in the afternoon there will be a musical presentation ‘Saints Alive’ at 3:00pm followed by a ‘Songs of Praise’ Evensong service at 4:00pm.
